Welcome to Diaper Du-Dee Diaper Service!
Starting Service
We will place into service for you an inventory of diapers that is double your weekly order. The first week will only be a pick-up. Each week thereafter you will receive the same number of clean diapers that you returned soiled the week before.
Pre-Birth Delivery
We offer you a pre-birth installation of diapers 2 weeks before your due date so that you have diapers on hand when your baby does arrive. There is no extra charge for this convenience. Just remember to call and activate your service as soon as you come home with your baby.
Diaper Container
A new diaper container equipped with a nylon liner that contains a small fabric patch for essential oils is provided with your one-time set up fee. Line your container with the nylon bag so that you once a week you take it out and leave it for pick-up. A new one will be provided with your clean diapers.
Soiled Diapers
There is no rinsing or soaking needed. All you do is deposit the soiled diaper in the container. If your baby is eating solid foods, please shake excess poop into toilet. This will help with odors as well as maintain the integrity of the cotton fibers longer. Place the diapers at your door once a week and leave the rest to us.
Delivery Day/Time
Your delivery day and time is determined by your geographic location. Please have your diapers to your front/back door by 8:00am on your scheduled day. It is not necessary to be home to receive your delivery. If you forget to leave out your soiled diapers Diaper Du-Dee will call to see if someone is available to get them outside. If we completely miss you, call as soon as possible. A $2.50 charged will be assessed to your next recurring charge for the inconvenience of having to come back the next day. You are charged your weekly fee even if you do not leave us your soiled bag. To cancel a week’s service and not be charged, you must call 48 hours before your delivery day. If you live in a secured entryway, please make arrangements for a hassle-free pick up and delivery. Please do not place your soiled diapers in direct sunlight!
Out of Service Area
If you live outside of our normal delivery area you have two options: (1) Arrange to bring diapers within delivery area once/week or drop them off at Diaper Du-Dee, or (2) Pay a fee of $.40/mile from Diaper Du-Dee (
Diaper Abuse
Our diapers are only to be used on babies. The quality of the diaper will greatly diminish if ANY chemical is used on them. Other parents deserve to have just as good of quality of diapers as you received. At this time there is no charge for diapers that must be taken out of service, but if it does become a constant problem a fee will be assessed.
Lost and Found
Please keep all personal items out of the liners. Diaper Du-Dee is not responsible for any lost items left in the soiled diaper bag. Please call us to report any missing items. If item is found we will gladly return it on your next scheduled pick-up. Accidental cleaning of lost items is not the responsibility of Diaper Du-Dee Diaper Service.
Billing
Diaper service is billed and payable in advance every four weeks. Your billing cycle begins one week before your first pick up. We offer a 5% discount for every 12 weeks purchased up to 48 weeks (20% off). Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards are accepted. Money orders and Bill Pay may also be used, but payments must be received before your service is scheduled to begin. Late payments incur a $3.00 fee. Sorry but we cannot accept personal checks. A 6% When you start service, we will furnish enough of our diapers to meet all your baby's requirements. If additional diapers are needed, just let us know. We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your service. If you have more diapers than you need, please call to reduce your inventory. Remember, you are charged for your full inventory, not the amount of diapers you actually use.
Changes to Service
In order for us to make adjustments to your service in time for your next delivery, it is best if you call at least 48 hours before the needed change. Most adjustments can be made within this period of time. We will accommodate your needs to the best of our ability. This may include change in size, diaper inventory, moving within our delivery area, vacation (one week hold), or a childcare provider added our service. For discontinuing service please make arrangements two weeks in advance so that you are not charged for service when you no longer need it.
Diaper Inventory
Holidays
We will try to deliver as usual on every holiday except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. If your delivery day falls on one of these days you will receive your service one day late that week.
Referrals
Customers will receive ONE free week of service when referring someone, including their childcare provider if they care for less than six children. If you refer your childcare provider who has at least seven children in care (daycare centers) you will receive TWO free weeks of service. And, if your childcare provider already uses our service you will receive an $8 discount every four weeks.
As a Gift
Diaper service is a great gift. We can provide you with an attractive diaper cake (extra charge) or gift certificate to provide to the recipient.
Discontinuing Service
When potty training is complete, or you are no longer in need of our service please call our office one week in advance to discontinue service. On the last service day, please put any clean diapers with the soiled. This way we will get a full count of diapers returned. Diaper Du-Dee reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time.
